Best of Both World's Family Childcare

Here is what my clients have to say about
Best of Both World's Family Child Care

As part of the interview process, I give families who interview with me a list of contact information of current and past clients. I encourage anyone interested in my services to contact these families for more information on the quality of care I provide.

We just celebrated our two year anniversary in her care and are so pleased at how our boys are growing and learning in Kathryn's educational, caring, multi-age environment.  Kathryn has been an amazing source of support and information for us.  As first-time parents of twin boys, we really appreciate the extra time she spends consulting on challenges!

We found Kathryn's daycare when my oldest was just over a year old and I was pregnant with my second child. My one-year old had been in 2 different daycare situations before she was 15 months old, and I knew neither situation was making my daughter happy and content...so we searched for a home daycare...that's when we found Kathryn. Both my children were cared for by Kathryn for five years. (They are currently in 2nd and 4th grade.) My girls learned so much from Kathryn and the stimulating environment that she provides - from social graces to science! She instills a sense of fairness and kindness within her home. The kids respect her and each other. In fact, my girls "grew up" with another family's kids while at Kathryn's and are still good friends to this day. My girls still talk about various projects, experiments, birthday parties, and field trips while they look fondly at pictures from the past. Kathryn has been such a huge part of our family that I couldn't imagine our relationship ending when Kindergarten entered our lives. Me and the girls remain in contact with Kathryn over e-mail and visit the daycare on occasion....she really is the "best of both worlds."

One of the ways I communicate with parents of children in my care is to send on-line photo albums of our activities together. A parent's comments after viewing one of these on-line photo albums: Again and again, I say to you--you are great! You're one of a kind, and I truly appreciate all that you do for my kids while they're in your care. The thought, effort, and love that you put into planning and executing all the activities is amazing! Thank you! Jenn
